HELMUT Art Program
The gallery space is unique in that it's a white cube with personality. The intimate space is ideal for exhibitions of various types, including interactive and performance.
Each show has a vernissage, a finissage and is open during unrelatedevents for a maximum period of three weeks. The future program will beon the website as soon as available and past programs can be found in the archives.
The art program is curated through an annual open-call. Interested artists are welcome to submit their project proposals and availability. The tender will be announced separately.
Submissions go through a two tiered process and are evaluated individually, as well as on their place within the framework of the entire program. Careful consideration is given to creating a well-rounded program of the highest quality.
Submissions that are not in line with the basic principles of clubmembers are not taken into account. We actively promote inclusion. Promotion of sexism, homophobia, nationalism, antisemitism, and/or racism has no place in our venue.
The members of the association also reserve the right to make changes to the program at any time should they feel work is in conflict with the above-mentioned basic principles.
The Helmut Exhibition Programme 2023 is funded by the City of Leipzig.
